Once I arrived at the theatre I was pleased to see that our Kate was the focus image of the entire program! During the performance, my excitement and fear built up as my mind wandered wondering what our little Cat was going to do during her dance. Just before she was set to 'take the stage', another group of young ones (kids that are probably 4 years old) were dancing, when all of a sudden our Katie Cat skipped out from the wings and twirled her way around the entire stage. The audience members were literally howling with laughter at the sight of itty bitty Kate in her red tutu, hair dressed in pig tales with ribbons, and tiny feet donning miniature ballet slippers, literally 'taking' the stage. She lept over props, danced and twirled around the girls, and when the music stopped she posed as if to show that her performance had, in fact, come to a close. Honestly, I haven't laughed that hard in years, maybe even longer.
