Holiday Festivities!
Scott and I have been very busy during the month of December. We've spent heaps of time with our niece and nephew, Kate, and Cameron and we've also attended many holiday parties. The excitement of our holidays hit a crescendo when we performed a citizen's arrest on a drunk driver on the 28th. Scott gave an official report of what we saw and the police also have our 911 tapes. It is likely that Scott will have to appear in court if this 18 year old girl decides to appeal the DUI charge. More details as they come!

... I was thinking more about that citizen's arrest after lunch a few days back. I definitely think you two did the right thing, even if he has to appear in court. If she had just got stuck in that snowbank and made it home alone, she might not have hurt anyone this time around, but without any consequences, she would have likely done it again, the results of which could have been catastrophic! Thus, you two may have unknowingly halted a chain of events that lead to much misery!
Thanks for the support! I hope that she and those that allowed her to drive that night re-think how they view drinking and driving.
